Finish: In Balla.

Distance: 17km.

Duration: 3 to 4 hours.

Route: The route is mostly flat and mostly on the way-marked Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail.

Pilgrims on this route would usually walked towards Croagh Patrick.

Note 1: Anyone who feel they cannot complete the full 17km are more than welcome to join the walk at any stage on the route. eg. @ Ballinafad, Loona, Brownhall, ...etc. Or you can walk from Balla and meet the walkers on the way home.

Gear: Walking boots and rain gear recommended.

Refreshments: You should bring a sandwich or small snack and a drink.

Donation €10 to cover the cost of the bus and refreshments at the start and end.

Charity: We will have a donation for a local Mayo charity if you wish to contribute.
